Parkview Regional Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Sean D. McCarthy as Medical Director of the Senior Care Unit. Dr. McCarthy is an experienced psychiatrist who received his medical degree from the Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, completed an internship in medicine and psychiatry at Baylor University Medical Center and his residency at Timberlawn Psychiatric Hospital in Dallas. Dr. McCarthy is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of the McLennan County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association.

Parkview Regional Hospital pleased to welcome family practice physician Dr. Peter M. Buffa to the Parkview Rural Health Clinic in Mexia. After completing medical school at the Universi-dad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico and the Fifth Pathway program, Dr. Buffa completed a three-year Family Practice Residency Program in McAllen. Dr. Buffa and his wife Marlene have two children, Peter, Jr., 3 and Laura, 1. He feels that this area is ideal for his family.
